Gullah Celebration to Fight Island Hunger

Freshfields Village is pleased to host the 4th Annual Gullah Celebration to support the Sea Islands Hunger Awareness Foundation on Saturday, May 19 from 3:00 to 6:00 pm. The event features Gullah arts and crafts as well as delicious cuisine by the Tomato Shed, beer, wine and a silent auction. Live performances will feature Deninufay African Dance & Drum Production and The Lowcountry Voices.

Tickets are $15 per person and are available at Food and beverage will be available for purchase. Proceeds will benefit The Sea Islands Hunger Awareness Foundation which supports various organizations and persons from Johns, Wadmalaw, Kiawah and Seabrook Islands who work to assist our neighbors with the basics of everyday life, specifically food and water.
