Join us on Friday, February 17 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm for the annual Art & Wine Walk. Residents and visitors are invited to watch live art demonstrations, view works from local and visiting artists, and enjoy live jazz music and tastes of wine in participating stores.
Aubergine Home Collection will host a local youth violin group who will perform inside the shop.
Derma Medical Aesthetics will feature paintings from local artists Sally Reynolds and Shar Duffy.
FortyEight - A Wine Bar will host Charleston artists Jennifer Swain Koach and Danielle Cather Cohen.
GDC Home will host popular sweet grass basket weaver, Sharon Perkins. Additionally, all in-store art work at GDC Kiawah will be on sale during the event.
Holly & Brooks will host an Island Pearl Trunk Show with designer Leighton Reeve. Her jewelry is carefully constructed with luxurious natural stones, pearls, and mixed components coming from her many travels around the world. Her pieces can be found at the Smithsonian, National Gallery of Art, Art Institute of Chicago, and many other galleries and boutiques around the country and Caribbean.
Enjoy a display of photographs from local artist Ron Chamberlain at J.McLaughlin Men's.
J.McLaughlin Women's will host local Seabrook Island artist Bob Lefevre.
Kiawah Spirits will host Kiawah Island artist Colleen Parker.
Leggiadro will feature artwork from Low Country artist, Carla Johannesmeyer, whose oil paintings are reminiscent of post-impressionists but border on expressionism. Her large confident brush strokes invoke a lyrical quality to her landscape, architectural and figurative narratives. She has a style uniquely her own. Her award winning work can be viewed online, at Courtyard Art Gallery downtown Charleston or by appointment at her studio.
Visit Lilly Pulitzer to meet local artist Bri Catarino whose work will be on display.
Peyton William Jewelry will feature artwork by Gina Brown along with wine and nibbles.
Roberta Roller Rabbit will host local artist Jamie Clemmons, the owner of Clemmons Tree Care that specializes in tree care and removal. Rather than letting the trees that are cut down end up in a landfill, Jamie repurposes the wood into furniture. By reusing the wood from ancient Lowcounrty trees, Jamie is helping preserve their history. Many of Jamie’s renewable furniture pieces incorporate a live edge design.
Scout & Molly's will host Kiawah Island artist Gretchen Prater. In addition, receive 20% off entire purchase including sale items and enter a drawing for a $100 gift card during the event.
SeaCoast Sports and Outfitters will host Kiawah Island artist Shar Duffy.

The Resort Shop is thrilled to host local artist Kate Waddell! Born and raised in Columbus, Georgia, but a resident of Charleston since college, Kate has developed a beautiful and lively style of painting. Whether she is painting local Charleston scenes, the canals of Italy, the human form, or a plate of breakfast food, Kate’s use of line and color draw the human eye to detect shapes and images. With a wide assortment of paintings as well as coffee mugs, stationary, and prints to choose from, her energetic and whimsical aesthetic is a cheerful addition to any room.
